ERPNext & AI automation

Less spreadsheet juggling. More useful answers.

Business questions deserve useful answers. I built reporting automation around ERPNext to make business records easier to work with, while keeping the ERP as the source of truth.

Start at the source

ERPNext holds the business records. The reporting integration reads authorized data without changing those source records.

The starting point

The problem behind the project.

Records live in the ERP, but answering everyday questions can still involve repeated exports, manual checks and spreadsheet assembly. Reporting also needs to respect who is allowed to see what.

My contribution

Connecting the right pieces.

I designed and built the reporting automation, including a reporting cache, scoped access and refresh workflows. The integration reads from ERPNext and keeps reporting work separate from the authoritative business records.

The result

What changed.

A reusable reporting workflow that brings ERP records into reports and AI-assisted answers. Access scope and data freshness remain part of the process.

What matters in the work

The details worth getting right.

Read from the source

Keep ERPNext authoritative.

Respect access

Carry permission scope into reporting.

Check freshness

Know when the reporting data was refreshed.
